Oundle Runner Finish on Top

It has been a good season for Oundle Runners who, on the last week of their season held their nerve to win the East Midlands Schools Cross-country League in what should have been a close contest. Both the Oundle boys and girls teams managed to finish on top of the 4 match competition in which 11 other schools also competed.

Will Oundle Beat the Drop?

Oundle Town Football Club has had a season that has been full of frustration. If the side are to have any hope of playing in the Peterborough Premier League next season, the team and their fans must keep up their spirits.. At the moment Oundle lie third from bottom, just four points above Peterborough Sports. They are safe for now, however; there can be no complacency, otherwise Oundle Town could be playing in Division 1 with the likes of Werrington Town and Stilton United.

Skiing Success for Local Star

Jessica Anderson, the young skiing sensation from Oundle, reached a new career high when she took the top prize in the British Alpine Championships, the final competition of the ski season.

The competition, which is held in Meribel in France, attracts hundreds of competitors from all over the United Kingdom, each contending for the top prize. Eleven year old Jessica clinched the title from over forty other competitors, competing in the “Mini” category where she finished first and second in her two races.
